Hello,
I had a positive biopsy test, after an endoscopy.
I have a broad range of symptoms, starting with a chronic gastritis.
However, I have tested in the past and just tested again for the antibodies and the result is always negative.
I do not know what to believe in and any help would be highly appreciated.

Re: Positive biopsy test and negative antibody test
blood test is almost too hard to get false negative. What did your biopsy report say about positive on H. pylori?

It said:
"Chronic Pangastritis, active, associated with Helicobacter pylori.
Intestinal metaplasia: Absent.
Degree of inflammatory process: II (moderate in the antrum / transition and light in the gastric body).
Stage / atrophy: 0 (atrophy not demonstrated in these samples).
Phenotype: Non-atrophic Pangastrite.
Note: Eradication / control is recommended."

Re: Positive biopsy test and negative antibody test
that's a clue of H. pylori present. not a real evidence. Perhaps you need breath or stool test to double confirm the result.
